Research interests include catalytic hydrocarbon conversion and waste remediation; environmental chemistry; synthetic and mechanistic organotransition metal chemistry; nanocrystals and solid state materials; and homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis, polymeric materials, nanomotors and nanofluids. His active research projects include catalytically-driven nanomotors, polymer synthesis, bottom-up assembly of ordered metamaterials and novel antimicrobial polymers and composites.
