Gourab is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering, with a focus on hydrology, hydro-informatics, and landscape modeling. His research interests include watershed modeling, statistical analysis on water quality parameters, framework development for watershed-level water quality improvement, and sustainable solutions for agricultural systems. Gourab has also researched developing water quality prediction models and analyzing stream dynamics within a watershed. Before pursuing his M.S. and Ph.D., Gourab worked with the Institute of Water Modelling, Bangladesh (IWM; https://www.iwmbd.org/) and the Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB; https://bwdb.portal.gov.bd/) on water resources development in Bangladesh and worldwide.
