The Institute for Computational and Data Sciences is pleased to announce a new round of RISE seed grants designed to provide faculty and research groups with added support related to computational research, data science, or cyberinfrastructure needs.
The program pairs researchers with experts from ICDS’s Research Innovations with Scientists and Engineers (RISE) team. The RISE team has deep knowledge of various scientific domains as well as broad knowledge of research cyberinfrastructure. They specialize in:
- Databases
- Visualization
- Code optimization
- Application development
- Science gateways
- Cloud computing
- Cyberinfrastructure development
- Other skillsets needed for research in computational and data sciences
Faculty members from all Penn State campuses are encouraged to apply by June 1, 2021 by submitting a brief proposal.
