Sarah Torhan is a Ph.D. student in the Civil & Environmental Engineering department at Penn State University studying water resources and geography. Her M.S. work focused on climate change adaptation across the food-energy-water nexus, and her Ph.D. work seeks to quantify and contextualize the impacts of socio-environmental change on FEW vulnerabilities in data-scarce regions. Previously, Sarah received her B.S. in chemical engineering, worked across various industries, and spent several years collaborating on grassroots environmental conservation and sustainable agriculture initiatives in Paraguay.
