Nutifafa Yao Doumon is an interdisciplinary scientist with a background in physics, nanoscience, and leadership. As a researcher, his main interest focuses on materials for solar technologies. He conducts research into Optoelectronic and photovoltaic devices, looking at stability testing and chemical characterization of the active layer, indoor/outdoor testing of organic/perovskite photovoltaic modules, and characterization of degradation and failure modes/mechanisms. Prior to Penn State, he worked at NREL (Golden, USA), INRS (Varennes, Canada), and the University of Groningen (Groningen, The Netherlands). His research focus was generally geared toward organic electronics, particularly organic light-emitting diodes and organic photovoltaics (OPVs). More recently, his works spanned degradation mechanisms and stability studies of fullerene and non-fullerene-based OPVs, exploring bulk heterojunction binary and ternary blends solar cells.
