Research Summary
We work on environmental microbiomes, mostly from soils. We are interested in probing microbial activity and linking it to the emergent properties of the soil system such as spatial organization or nutrient status. Our work also involves simulating climate change scenarios and see how microbes are answering and how different soil communities might be more or less resilient. We use a broad range of tools from omics to microspectroscopies.
