Erik Foley is the Director of the Center for the Business of Sustainability and Instructor in Management and Organization at Penn State's Smeal College of Business and teaches courses in sustainability strategy and social entrepreneurship. The center's mission is to accelerate the integration of sustainability in business, which is done through a community of scholars, educators, students, and industry partners.
He is faculty director of the Business Sustainability Strategy Graduate Certificate Program, and co-faculty director of Penn State Executive Programs' "Building a Sustainable Supply Chain" short course.
Erik teaches, consults, speaks, and leads workshops on the role business can play in advancing social justice and environmental conservation and regeneration. Specifically, his focus areas include social entrepreneurship, sustainability strategy, and change leadership. His focus and passion is on growing organizations with servant leadership, hard-nosed business analysis, and an authentic focus on real social and environmental impact.
