Edouard Mensah is a post-doctoral scholar at Penn State University, where he mainly works on understanding human adaptive behavior to hurricanes in the United States. His educational background is in agricultural economics and development studies, with graduate degrees from the University of Georgia, the University of Copenhagen, and Morocco’s National School of Agriculture. Mensah has broad research interests in applied economics that include impact evaluations of survey methods as well as of pro-poor and gender-sensitive interventions and technologies; food security and nutrition; alignment of incentives among agricultural marketing actors; and the microeconomic response of value chain actors to environmental threats and stressors.
