Research Summary

Biophysical, biochemical, and molecular techniques, in combination with whole-plant measurements to determine which processes limit plant cell growth under normal and stressed conditions and how plants regulate their growth rates. Wall loosening proteins, grass pollen allergens as beta-expansins, growth adaptations to water stress and structure and assembly of plant cell walls.
