Research Summary

Research utilizes advanced spectroscopic and electrochemical approaches to understand the mechanisms and thermodynamics of environmental redox processes with the goal of developing a quantitative understanding of these processes to develop better predictive models and risk assessment tools. Especially interested in mineral formation and transformation reactions that affect environmental pollutant fate and can be used for energy production, storage, and recovery.
