Equipment full name: Multi-Frequency Electro Magnetic Conductivity Meter (MFEMCM)

Description

The GSSI EMP-400 profiler is a powerful electromagnetic induction tool that was built using a proprietary source cancellation and calibration system to create superior signal stability. The Profiler can be configured to simultaneously measure up to 3 frequencies from 1000 Hz to 16,000 Hz and the system can be deployed in either the vertical or horizontal dipole mode.  The EMP-400 Profiler is used to map soil conductivity for various applications including environmental assessments, landfill delineation, and geologic investigations.
