The coronavirus pandemic hit the world right as sustainable business and impact/ESG investing were taking off. The Paris Climate Agreement, UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Greta Thunberg’s #FridaysforFuture, and the rapid growth in impact/ESG investing are just a few of the global drivers that were catalyzing business’ engagement with social and environmental issues.
Then a novel virus shut down the world economy.
Clearly the urgent matter is to slow the spread, support medical workers on the frontlines, and assist the most vulnerable people, families and communities. Companies and entrepreneurs are doing a lot to proactively respond. But what about all the momentum for sustainability that was mounting?
Join us on April 15 for the first in a unique series of conversations with individuals working in various parts of the sustainable business and impact/ESG investing world. This is a rare opportunity to go beyond the headlines and hear directly from experts in the field.
