Yuhan Zhou

Yuhan Zhou is a doctoral student in architecture with a focus in landscape architecture at Penn State. Zhou’s research focuses on urban water quality, stormwater, and the environmental impacts of urban development. Current work examines polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in urban surface runoff, including their formation, potential health and environmental impacts, and mitigation strategies.

Zhou’s broader research interests include water quality, urban flooding, green infrastructure, and the relationships among land use, climate, and freshwater ecosystems.
