Mechanisms of chemical carcinogenesis as a tool for developing chemopreventive strategies to reduce the morbidity and mortality from cancer. In particular focusing on structure-activity studies with mutagenic and carcinogenic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).
