Sean is responsible for directing and overseeing the Research Program, managing and mentoring staff in the Lake Erie Office, conducting ecological studies related to the coastal areas and tributaries of Lake Erie, developing and implementing science-based extension programs, and serving as a liaison between Pennsylvania Sea Grant and the National Sea Grant Office.
Sean provides expertise and leadership in several key areas, including watershed monitoring and planning; aquatic biology; geospatial technologies; fisheries science; ecosystem health; and coastal communities. During his career, Sean has authored/co-authored six peer-reviewed publications, delivered more than 25 professional presentations, and has helped leverage more than $3.2 million in grants.
