Anne Pisor ("pie-zur") is a scientific anthropologist doing transdisciplinary work on how individuals and households respond to environmental risk, with implications for their livelihoods and health. Her research often falls under adaptation, preparedness, sustainability, risk mitigation, and natural resource management. You'll usually find her doing field-based mixed-methods research in East Africa, Latin America, or the US; integrating environmental and social data at scale; and doing data science and data analytics on both small and big data.
