Bruce Logan
Bruce Logan is the director of the Institute of Energy and the Environment and an Evan Pugh University Professor in Engineering.
His research focuses on renewable energy production, including microbial fuel cells and systems that produce hydrogen or methane. He also develops energy-sustainable water infrastructure and leads education initiatives on energy, carbon emissions, and climate change.
A highly cited author, Logan has received numerous awards and serves as a guest professor at several universities worldwide. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and a Fellow of several professional organizations including the International Water Association (IWA) and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
