Dionex Integrion HPIC

Using This Equipment

For more information and to utilize this equipment, please contact Nathaniel Warner.

Equipment full name: Dionex Integrion High Pressure Ion Chromatograph

Description: The Dionex Integrion HPIC is a high pressure ion chromatography system equipped with a conductivity detector (CD) and performs a wide range of ion (anions and cations) analysis applications. The Dionex Integrion uses Chromeleon 7 Chromatography Data System to acquire and process data.

Analytical Method: Our laboratory follows Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater, 23rd Edition. Bromide, chloride, fluoride, nitrate-N, nitrite-N, phosphorus-P and sulfate are analyzed following 4110B.

Sample submission: Water samples may be submitted to the water quality laboratory chemist for analysis.

Training: Student researchers and faculty who may be interested in training on how to operate the instrument and interpret the data, please contact the water quality laboratory to schedule training and time on the instrument. While the number of training hours may vary, depending on the student's knowledge and analytical skills, we require a minimum of four training hours prior to allowing the student to independently operate the instrument.
