Water Cooler Talk: Soil Hydrology and Agricultural Resiliency will discuss hydroclimatic threats to agricultural production, principles, mechanisms, and current knowledge on how better soil management can improve resiliency against inconducive weather. Crop access to optimal soil water conditions dictates the success of the agricultural enterprise and other ecosystem services. Climate-smart management practices aimed at improving soil organic carbon have the potential to influence soil water availability and resiliency of agricultural systems.

Please join us as we gather around the virtual water cooler as one collective water resource community. We will be providing a certificate of attendance for professional development documentation. This will be provided to anyone who attends and is interested in receiving this certificate. Please note that this does not count as certified credits for continuing education.
The Water Cooler Talk Series provides a once-a-month event featuring invited speakers discussing water resources around the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This series provides a chance for all people interested in water resources to gather and discuss current water-related work.
