Wastewater as an Indicator of the Physical and Mental Health of PA Communities during the COVID-19 Pandemic

Wastewater surveillance has become increasingly common during the COVID-19 pandemic. This talk will present the surveillance efforts on campus and across the Commonwealth, including how this project has gone beyond monitoring for SARS-CoV-2 to monitor pharmaceuticals entering four case study treatment plants over the course of the past year.
