With this joint meeting under the theme ‘Harnessing Genetic Diversity for Resilient Forests’ we are hoping to draw participants from across our regional societies and international borders to lead discussions on the role of genetics in forest health, breeding, conservation, climate adaptation, restoration, biotechnological advances, and much, much more. The program will include exciting keynote speakers and a student-organized career panel that will represent a wide range of topics and career stages in forest genetics, highlighting a diversity of research approaches and issues critical to the field. The program will include multiple concurrent oral presentations and poster presentations from undergraduate, graduate, postdoctoral scholars and professionals in the field. We are thrilled to offer multiple workshops prior to and following the conference, along with a diversity of field excursions to highlight the breadth of forest genetics research in Pennsylvania! Come join us in Happy Valley this summer – all are welcome!
