UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs is offering a 2023-24 Promotion and Tenure workshop series for faculty on how to prepare for success in the promotion and tenure process.
This series provides an in-depth exploration of the promotion and tenure process for all Penn State faculty, including tenure- and non-tenure-line.
Upcoming workshops in this series include:
- "Tips for Writing a Narrative Statement" — Feb. 15, 10–11 a.m. Target audience: Tenure-line and non-tenure-line faculty seeking promotion.
- "Tips for Creating a Teaching Portfolio" — Feb. 23, 11 a.m.–noon. Target audience: Pre-tenure and non-tenure-line faculty.
This series is offered live via Penn State’s Zoom platform, and each session is recorded for later viewing. Audience questions are highly encouraged. Registration is not required to attend.
