UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Climate change affects everyone, but marginalized communities and communities of color are most often the hardest hit. Gregory Jenkins, professor of meteorology and atmospheric science, geography, and African studies at Penn State, will discuss the intersection of climate science and environmental and social justice at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 3. The talk will be broadcast via Zoom.
Jenkins’ talk is part of the Earth System Science Center’s spring 2021 Climate Dynamics seminar series. The series focuses on the cutting-edge climate research being conducted in the Earth and Environmental Systems Institute and the Climate Science dual-title graduate program in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences at Penn State.
