UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost and the Office of Vice Provost of Faculty Affairs have announced open applications for the Provost Endorsement Program for the 2024-25 academic year. This initiative, part of the University's ongoing efforts to support faculty professional development, invites faculty and academic leaders to apply for the opportunity to lead a program in the coming academic year.

Applications deadline: March 15

Prospective leaders are encouraged to submit their applications by March 15. The program seeks candidates who are eager to contribute to professional development in three key domain areas: Teaching and Outreach; Research, Scholarship and Creative Accomplishment; or Leadership and Service. Full details regarding the application process, eligibility requirements, and program benefits can be found at the program's website.

Office hours for application process via Zoom

To facilitate the application process and offer personalized assistance, office hours will be available on Feb. 19, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and Feb. 20, from 10 a.m. to noon, via Zoom. These sessions are a valuable opportunity for applicants to receive guidance, pose questions, and obtain insights directly from the Provost’s Endorsement Management Team. Access to these Zoom meetings is available through the program's website.

This pilot program is part of Penn State's broader commitment to the professional growth and development of its faculty and staff. As outlined in a previous announcement about the Provost Endorsement Program, this initiative supports a range of professional development activities, fostering an environment where academic leaders can thrive and contribute to the university's mission of academic excellence.
