On July 20, Dean Rick Roush will be joined by experts John Boney, Vernon E. Norris Faculty Fellow of Poultry Nutrition Assistant Professor of Poultry Science; Justin Brown, Assistant Teaching Professor Program Coordinator, Undergraduate Studies, Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences; and Megan Lighty, Associate Clinical Professor Avian Diagnostic and Outreach Veterinarian. The group will discuss the nature and threat of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI), impacts in Pennsylvania to date, and what the public can do to help.
