The Brooks family and the Department of Geography at Penn State will host a celebration of the life of Robert Brooks, emeritus professor of geography, at 10 a.m. on Sunday, June 12, at Millbrook Marsh Nature Center.
All are welcome to attend and are encouraged to RSVP here by June 7.
The celebration of Brooks’ life will begin in the nature center’s barn, where attendees may share stories and memories. The event will conclude with a walk through and dedication of a model fen that Brooks helped to establish. Attendees may also participate in a planting in Brooks' memory.
